Job summary
Interstate Assembly Systems in Surprise, AZ is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. The role oversees production, planning, materials, engineering support, and quality teams while advancing operational excellence.
The ideal candidate brings Lean and Six Sigma experience, strong leadership, and a track record of improving efficiency and profitability in asset-heavy manufacturing
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma; leadership experience required.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, planning, inventory, and quality systems.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or related continuous improvement methods.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, productivity, and profitability goals.
- Provide leadership to production, planning, materials, engineering, quality, and support teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and quality.
- Monitor key metrics to guide business decisions.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and satisfaction.
- Support strategic planning and branch objectives.
- Represent the company in industry associations and community groups.
- Uphold safety and regulatory compliance.
