Job summary

Merck in United States is seeking a hands-on Technician (Technical), Operations to support manufacturing and packaging processes. The role emphasizes basic mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, equipment setup, and daily task execution under the Operations Manager's guidance.

You will operate and maintain equipment, monitor quality, perform lineClearance, and assist with maintenance tasks to ensure safe, efficient production of high-quality products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in a GMP manufacturing facility and experience with industrial equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
• Willingness to work varying shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain manufacturing and packaging equipment to meet production standards.
• Perform routine line clearance, cleaning and inspections with proper documentation.
• Set up and adjust equipment using appropriate tools for alignment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processes; respond to alarms.
• Support maintenance tasks and obtain parts as needed.
• Adhere to cGMP, SOPs, and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with peers to improve processes and reduce waste.
