Job summary
Honda Development & Manufacturing of America seeks a Manufacturing Equipment Reliability Engineer at the Anna Engine Plant in Anna, OH. You will lead equipment reliability improvements, analyze downtime using PDCA, and implement automated technologies to meet plant SQCDME targets.
You will conduct hands-on troubleshooting of automated engine manufacturing equipment, review shift reports, drive permanent countermeasures, and mentor maintenance technicians to strengthen technical capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering or Technology required.
- 0-6 years engineering experience in industrial manufacturing (co-op welcome).
- Familiarity with automated equipment and measurements on the shop floor.
Responsibilities
- Lead reliability improvements for manufacturing equipment.
- Analyze downtime and implement PDCA-based countermeasures.
- Evaluate automation tech to improve equipment efficiency.
- Manage budgets to meet department cost targets.
- Develop maintenance techs through training and mentorship.
