Qualifications

• US Citizenship required by federal law.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, computer science, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of engineering experience in manufacturing or production equipment environments.
• Experience evaluating engineering requirements and developing equipment or process solutions.
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment principles, safety, reliability, and maintainability.
• Experience analyzing technical data to support design decisions.
• Ability to develop technical documentation and supplier requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate production program requirements to develop equipment concepts and engineering solutions for manufacturing operations.
• Design, develop, implement, and improve equipment and production systems to enhance efficiency, quality, and throughput.
• Analyze data to assess impacts on product design, equipment usability, processes, and production rates.
• Ensure equipment designs comply with safety regulations, ergonomics, producibility, maintainability, reliability, and standards.
• Develop and manage equipment bid packages and supplier specifications.
• Troubleshoot production equipment and process issues affecting quality, safety, and performance.
• Develop solutions and workarounds to minimize downtime and improve effectiveness.
• Maintain hardware configurations and engineering documentation using configuration management.
• Conduct equipment and asset utilization studies with repair/replacement/lifecycle recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support objectives and continuous improvement.
