ComSonics Manufacturing Solutions in Weyers Cave, VA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join our innovative team. You will collaborate with engineering to create, verify, and refine assembly documentation aligned with production processes.

This role emphasizes attention to detail, problem solving, and hands-on readiness with tools and blueprints. You'll support prototype builds, document procedures, and help implement process improvements to boost quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
• One year of experience in manufacturing, electronics, or engineering environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency using basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and documentation for completeness and interface with mating assemblies.
• Write clear, concise technical documentation for Manufacturing use.
• Assist in prototype builds of new assemblies and conduct staff training.
• Identify process improvements to enhance quality and productivity while reducing costs.
• Initiate and assist with Engineering Change Notices implementation.
• Understand and perform programming and operational functions for key equipment (AOI, Pick and Place, Wavesolder, etc.).
