Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician - 2nd Shift in Wisconsin. The role supports manufacturing engineers, drives lean initiatives, and leads Kaizen events. It requires a high school diploma, 2+ years in manufacturing, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Sign-on bonus of $2,000 is offered.

The position pays $31.00 per hour plus a $2.50 shift premium, with a 2:30 pm–10:30 pm shift. Eligible for benefits, weekly pay, and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years working in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
• Relocation benefits are not offered; candidates within 50 miles of the location preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing engineers and deploy CI initiatives in the plant.
• Maintain standard work documentation and manufacturing methods; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead Kaizen and Rapid Improvement Events.
• Create and maintain standard work documentation such as MMs and VOPs.
• Support deployment of DeepHow video process documentation and tooling improvements.
• Participate in lean events and value stream map projects; address root causes via 5 Why/8D.
