Ford Motor Company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor (UEV) in Dearborn, MI, hybrid role. You will lead a team of engineers to ensure manufacturability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness across programs.

Responsibilities include DFM, KPI analysis, risk mitigation, and advancement of automation. Strong Lean manufacturing experience and virtual tooling proficiency are required. Travel to support launches may be needed.

Qualifikationen

• B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8–10 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
• Understanding and applying Lean Manufacturing principles.

Aufgaben

• Lead DFM by integrating manufacturing requirements into vehicle development.
• Oversee analysis of KPIs and drive corrective actions for productivity and quality.
• Guide identification of process risks and develop preventive measures.
• Support technology adoption and use of virtual tools for simulation and optimization.
• Lead cross-functional alignment to ensure manufacturability and cost-effective production.
• Oversee program financial targets for facility, tooling and labor.
• Foster continuous improvement and apply lessons learned to new programs.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to a team of manufacturing engineers.
