Job summary

Raytheon seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Section Manager to lead the cable and harness manufacturing engineering functions in Andover, MA. The role reports to the Operations Execution (XOPs) Engineering Department Manager and collaborates closely with Operations to support manufacturing.

The candidate will provide engineering support, plan strategic projects, drive producibility in designs, and guide the engineering team through root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience.
• 2+ Years of Manufacturing leadership experience.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for the development and sustainment of production processes, generation and maintenance of Manufacturing Data Packages, tooling development, capital equipment, project execution, and innovation.
• Planning and scheduling of strategic projects, driving producibility into product designs, and managing tactical support to the manufacturing production floor.
• Leading the engineering support team in root cause and corrective action analysis, driving continuous improvement projects, and interfacing with the product value streams.
