RTX seeks a Section Manager to lead the cable and harness manufacturing support within the Operations Execution (XOPs) Engineering Department in Andover, MA. You will provide engineering support for production processes, data packages, tooling, and capital equipment, while driving producibility and root-cause analysis.
The ideal candidate has a STEM degree with extensive manufacturing leadership experience and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

The Section Manager will report to the Operations Execution (XOPs) Engineering Department Manager and will closely collaborate with Operations in support of cable and harness manufacturing. The position will be located in Andover, MA.
Providing engineering support for the development and sustainment of production processes, generation and maintenance of Manufacturing Data Packages, tooling development, capital equipment, project execution, and innovation. Planning and scheduling of strategic projects, driving producibility into product designs, and managing tactical support to the manufacturing production floor. Leading the engineering support team in root cause and corrective action analysis, driving continuous improvement projects, and interfacing with the product value streams.
You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience. 2+ Years of Manufacturing leadership experience. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
