L'Oreal USA, Inc. in North Little Rock, AR is seeking a Manager of Engineering to lead capital projects and drive packaging technology improvements.

You will oversee design, installation, and commissioning of equipment, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery across complex manufacturing lines. The role requires a strong engineering background, 7+ years in Advanced Manufacturing or automation, and proven project management in a facilities environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a scientific field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of seven (7) years in Advanced Manufacturing, Equipment Design, Robotics, and applied engineering or automation.
Knowledge of facilities and equipment design; ability to plan and support execution including mechanical/electrical installation and construction permits.
Experience delivering capital projects for manufacturing equipment.
Demonstrated safety culture and value.

Responsibilities

Maintain state-of-the-art knowledge of packaging technology and recommend improvements or upgrades.
Design the layout of manufacturing operations to maximize material flow and production efficiency.
Identify, cost justify, purchase, install, upgrade, modify, and improve capital equipment for packaging.
Design and supervise building of specialty equipment to enhance productivity.
Ensure projects meet safety, quality, performance, delivery, and budget criteria.
Provide support to technical and production personnel and supervise subcontractors.
