ARA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Manager to lead the manufacturing engineering function across programs and production areas, providing strategic direction and hands-on technical leadership to optimize processes. The role focuses on aligning engineering decisions with business outcomes, driving improvements in yield, throughput, cycle time, scrap/rework, OTD, labor efficiency, and cost, while collaborating with Design Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience with leadership experience
• Strong technical depth in manufacturing engineering, with ability to engage in complex problems
• Experience delivering measurable improvements in yield, throughput, cycle time, OTD, and cost
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and continuous improvement methodologies
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage capital equipment Justifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of manufacturing engineers and technicians
• Provide strategic direction for manufacturing process development and factory improvements
• Drive NPIs, DFM, and production readiness initiatives
• Oversee development, validation, and continuous improvement of processes, equipment, and tooling
• Drive data-driven improvements to yield, throughput, cycle time, and cost
• Collaborate with Design Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Operations
• Establish manufacturing metrics and monitor performance to guide priorities
• Serve as escalation point for high-impact technical or operational issues
