Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Manager of Manufacturing Engineering to oversee the development and implementation of efficient manufacturing processes. This onsite role in Franklin Furnace, OH, focuses on continuous improvement, material management, productivity, cost reduction, quality, and safety.

You will lead the Manufacturing Engineering team, drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, optimize MES data and capacity, and collaborate across departments to deliver measurable gains in throughput and overall

Qualifications

• Requires 5–10+ years in an industrial engineering role.
• Requires 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma expertise desired.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Manufacturing Engineering department, setting goals and prioritizing projects.
• Manage MES data for production routes and optimize constraints to improve OEE and throughput.
• Implement PFEP (Plan for Every Part).
• Develop and maintain capacity models to forecast resources based on demand.
• Support cleanroom layout planning and streamlined logistics.
• Establish and report key operational metrics to identify bottlenecks.
• Oversee production scheduling, dispatching efficiency, and on‑time delivery.
• Lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and drive Smart Manufacturing transformations.
• Perform additional tasks to support department goals.
