Job summary

Vertiv Corporation in Franklin Furnace, OH, is seeking a Manager of Manufacturing Engineering to oversee the development and optimization of manufacturing processes. You will lead the department, manage MES data, drive PFEP implementation, and model capacity to improve OEE and throughput.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field.
• 5-10+ years in an industrial engineering role.
• 2+ years in a leadership/managerial role.
• Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma experience desired.
• Knowledge of SQL or other programming languages for data mining.
• Experience implementing process improvements and achieving efficiency gains.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Manufacturing Engineering department, setting goals and priorities and managing staff.
• Manage MES data for production routes, optimize material flow and throughput.
• Implement PFEP (Plan for Every Part) practices.
• Develop and maintain capacity models to forecast resource needs.
• Support cleanroom layout planning for efficient logistics and workflow.
• Establish key metrics and reporting to identify bottlenecks.
• Oversee production scheduling, dispatching, and line balancing.
• Drive continuous improvement via Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.
• Perform additional duties to support departmental and organizational goals.
