Vertiv Delaware, Ohio is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The role will optimize manufacturing processes, develop efficient workflows, ensure safety, and improve product quality through hands-on engineering and strategic planning.

The position emphasizes process improvement, Lean methods, PFMEA, fixture design collaboration, and support for ISO Quality Systems.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of cost control, exceptional attention to detail, and ability to work in a light manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Experience working within Oracle EBS (preferred).
  • BS degree in a technical field required; Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering preferred.
  • 1–3 years' experience in a production environment preferred.
  • Lean Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process Improvement and workflow optimization to improve quality, reduce cost, increase productivity, ensure safety, and reduce cycle time.
  • Lead and design strategies for improving processes within the Operations organization.
  • Employ Lean methodologies and tools to accomplish business objectives.
  • Advise the production team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
  • Some automation work and troubleshooting to support production.
  • Support ISO Quality System and Continuous Improvement efforts; document work instructions.
  • Conduct PFMEA to identify and mitigate risks in manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to design, validate, and fabricate fixtures.
  • Possibly lead and direct the work of others.
