Job summary

Precision Castparts in New Hartford, NY seeks a Manufacturing Engineering leader to provide focus, direction and leadership for manufacturing engineering functions, aligning operations with business objectives in New Hartford/Dunkirk.

You will drive productivity through lean methods, oversee PFMEAs, Kaizen events, and capital projects, and collaborate with maintenance to ensure safe, productive equipment.

Qualifications

• BSME or IE required; leadership in process manufacturing.
• Experience reflecting success in leadership roles.
• Thorough knowledge of Lean, Theory of Constraints, Six Sigma.
• Knowledge of Value Stream mapping.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to optimize tools, methods and resources for productivity.
• Drive PFMEAs, control plans and SPC throughout the shop.
• Facilitate Kaizen events and identify top improvement opportunities.
• Develop visual management including standard work, 5S and process control.
• Oversee CapEx planning and equipment overhaul projects.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to ensure productive, safe operation.
