Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering is required; Master's preferred.
• 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience with 3+ years in leadership/supervisory roles.
• Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge; Black Belt a plus; CAD/CAM experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of manufacturing engineers, fostering their professional development and ensuring project deliverables are met.
• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes, equipment, and layouts to maximize productivity and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with R&D, NPI, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth product launches and DFM principles are integrated.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for manufacturing operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and control plans.
• Conduct root cause analysis for manufacturing defects and implement robust solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Manage capital equipment procurement, installation, and qualification processes.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.
• Present manufacturing engineering project updates and performance reports to senior management.
