Job summary

Voltage Energy Group in Timberlake, NC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes for wire harnesses, solar products, and related electrical systems.

You will oversee the Manufacturing Engineering team and coordinate with Design Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production to ensure safe, efficient, scalable operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering required; Master's preferred.
• 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience; 3+ years in leadership.
• Experience with wire harness, electrical assembly, automotive, electronics, renewable energy industries preferred.
• Strong Lean/Six Sigma/Kaizen background and problem-solving skills.
• Experience implementing automation and manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes for wire harness assemblies and solar products.
• Establish routings, labor standards, cycle times, and standardized work instructions.
• Partner with Design Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production to ensure manufacturability and readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement, capacity planning, and automation initiatives.
• oversee production ramps, new product launches, and process controls.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen projects to improve throughput and OEE.
