The ideal candidate has extensive experience in automotive manufacturing, APQP/PPAP, CAD, and Industry 4.0 technologies, along with a proactive leadership style for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in automotive.
• Experience leading a team of engineers.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and control plans.
• Proficiency with CAD and manufacturing simulation tools.
• Knowledge of automation, robotics, PLCs, and Industry 4.0 technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Manufacturing Engineers and staff.
• Drive efficiency, quality, and innovation in automotive manufacturing.
• Oversee APQP deliverables including PFMEA, control plans.
• Collaborate with product engineering, quality, and operations.
• Specify and implement manufacturing equipment and automation.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
• Monitor OEE, cycle time, throughput, and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with IATF/ISO standards and audits.
