Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate considered with strong experience.
• At least five years in a manufacturing engineering management role.
• Experience in metals environments (stamping, machining, fabrication).
• Strong continuous improvement background with tangible results.
• Experience overseeing direct reports and managing project timelines/budgets.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor the engineering team, aligning priorities daily.
• Drive continuous improvement and KPI development across plants.
• Own and manage all aspects of new product launches.
• Resolve engineering concerns directly on the manufacturing floor.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and contractors.
• Create and enforce standardized engineering processes and procedures.
• Monitor and optimize department labor utilization for projects.
• Apply Lean methods and data-driven decision making to schedule-critical projects.
• Direct capital equipment projects, vet vendors, and manage ROI.
