Job summary

Ashton North LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer – Advanced Manufacturing & Process Optimization to develop, implement, and continuously improve production methods across multiple plants. You will analyze workflows, drive process capability, and lead cross-functional teams to meet cost, quality, and throughput targets.

You will collaborate with Production Supervisors, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain in a Lean, data-driven environment, using SPC, time studies, Kaizen

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on manufacturing/metals industry experience.
• Experience in industrial engineering methods, project management, and manufacturing process development.
• SolidWorks or CAD/CAM and GD&T standards.
• Strong ability to communicate technical information to teams and vendors.
• Advanced mechanical and quantitative skills including statistics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and refine manufacturing methods for repeatability and scalable production.
• Analyze workflows using time studies, simulations, and SPC.
• Maintain routings, BOMs, labor standards, and capacity models in ERP/MRP.
• Lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support plant layout, material flow, line balancing, and ergonomics.
• Provide cross-site technical guidance and training.
