Ashton North is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in the Milwaukee area to plan, support, and lead the introduction of new products on the manufacturing floor. You will integrate new products into existing lines, optimize processes, and apply Lean methods to boost line efficiency.

The role requires a BS in Engineering and 1–6 years of manufacturing engineering experience, with CAD skills (Creo/Pro-E) and proficiency in Word, Excel, and Access. A focus on safety and cost reduction is essential.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering and 1 to 6 years of experience in manufacturing engineering (if under 3 years' experience 3.0+ GPA is needed)
• Proficient CAD skills: Creo / Pro-E, Word, Excel, Access
• Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma
• Experience with production line layout is helpful

Responsibilities

• Plan, support, and lead introduction of products to the manufacturing floor and integrate new products into lines
• Develop operating method standards for assembly
• Apply Lean concepts to reduce waste and improve efficiency
• Troubleshoot production line problems
• Lead cost reduction initiatives and safety improvements
• Lead design initiatives in line layout, tooling, and part flow
• Justify capital equipment investments
• Advance safety and ergonomic practices
