Zaddy Solutions in Saint Joseph, MI is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineering professionals focused on optimizing plant efficiencies and launching new products. You will report to the General Manager, mentor 15 engineers, and drive Lean initiatives on the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, driving continuous improvement, managing product launches, and collaborating cross-functionally to standardize processes and improve KPIs.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; strong experience considered with an Associate's degree.
• Minimum five years in manufacturing engineering management with background in manufacturing/process engineering.
• Experience in metals environments (stamping, machining, fabrication) preferred.
• Strong continuous improvement background with measurable scrap reductions and efficiency gains.
• Experience supervising direct reports and managing timelines and budgets; leading product launches.

Mansioni

• Supervise and mentor a team of ~15 engineering professionals on the manufacturing floor.
• Drive continuous improvement and KPI development across the engineering function.
• Own planning and execution of all engineering activities for new product launches.
• Resolve floor-level engineering issues and drive rapid problem solving.
• Collaborate with other departments, suppliers, and contractors to standardize processes and optimize resources.
• Develop detailed engineering plans, processes, and SOPs for the engineering staff.
• Monitor labor utilization to keep projects on schedule; apply Lean methods and data-driven decision making.
• Direct capital equipment projects, vet vendors, and manage costs/ROI.
• Collaborate with design engineers to conceptualize production fixtures and tooling.
