Job summary

Configure Clearwater seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead manufacturing engineering, advanced automation, and facility development. You will drive scalable, technology‑driven manufacturing systems across automation, AI, and autonomous technologies to improve productivity and ROI.

The role requires hands‑on engineering leadership, strong project management, and coordination with contractors and operations to deliver safe, reliable production capabilities in a growing environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or closely related field.
Equivalent, progressive hands-on experience in automation and injection molding may substitute for degree.
Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial automation design, manufacturing facility development or startups and injection molding operations.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, commissioning, and integration of efficient, scalable manufacturing cells including injection molding equipment, robotics, material handling, inspection, assembly, and packaging systems.
Coordinate engineering, tooling, machine manufacturers, automation integrators, and operations to ensure equipment compatibility and production readiness.
Develop manufacturing layouts and standardized cell concepts to optimize equipment utilization and future scalability.
Lead the implementation of advanced automation, AI, machine vision, and autonomous manufacturing technologies.
