Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Camden, NJ is seeking an Associate Manager, Manufacturing Engineering to lead manufacturing engineers on programs and to oversee essential documentation such as work instructions and routings.

The role focuses on improving throughput through lean techniques, scheduling, and process development while collaborating with design engineering to ensure producibility and reliability across life cycle requirements.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering with 4+ years of experience; or 10 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience leading and managing processes, projects, tactics, and teams.
• Experience with military or industry specifications and standards.
• Experience with ERP, MRP and MES software.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to manufacturing engineers on assigned programs.
• Develop and implement plans to expand production capabilities and efficiencies.
• Hire, develop, and retain manufacturing engineers.
• Supervise and remove barriers for manufacturing engineers.
• Develop manufacturing plans, schedules, process flows, and tests.
• Support design engineering to ensure cost-effective, producible solutions.
