Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks an enthusiastic Manufacturing Engineering Intern to build a strong technical foundation in manufacturing and assembly. You will work on core processes, new product integration, technology adoption, and continuous improvement to prepare for MEDP/OMLP programs after graduation.

Learn Lean, Six Sigma, and project-management skills while contributing to safe operations and quality goals in a fast-paced environment across GE sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Attending a full-time registered and nationally accredited bachelor or graduate program.
• Willingness to work at 35+ GE Aerospace U.S. locations.
• Reliable transportation for sites without public transit.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply state-of-the-art manufacturing methods.
• Support manufacturing and repair processes for component hardware and engine assembly.
• Maintain quality via risk assessment, root-cause analysis, corrective action and SPC.
• Ensure safe work conditions per EHS initiatives.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma to drive productivity and on-time delivery.
• Assist delivery of sourced components and build project management skills.
