Job summary

Rocket Lab USA is offering a hands-on internship for engineering, physics or math students. You’ll work under a mentor, contribute to real projects, and learn through structured 1:1s, tech talks, and cross-team collaboration.

This on-site internship runs for at least 12 consecutive weeks starting January to March 2027, with a pay range of $25.00 USD per hour and a relocation stipend possibility. You'll gain practical experience in a fast-paced space environment.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in an engineering, physics or math discipline with at least one semester remaining.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab, or project work).

Responsibilities

• Support engineering teams on real projects under a mentor.
• Apply engineering concepts to solve challenges in a fast-paced environment.
• Attend regular 1:1s with mentors and provide progress updates.
• Participate in tech talks and networking events with interns and employees.
