Job summary

Pacific Fusion seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join the Delivery team for the Summer 2027 program. You will support MES implementation, collaborate with build technicians and engineers to create and release work instructions, and assist tooling design and data-driven improvements.

You will gain exposure to the full product development lifecycle in a collaborative, learning-focused environment with daily catered lunches, mentorship from veterans, and hands-on experience onsite for a

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Engineering, or a related field.
• Willingness to work with technicians and engineers to understand the build process.
• Attentive listening to collect details for work instructions.
• Ability to think quickly and provide solutions as problems arise.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Able to work full time onsite for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks starting mid May–mid June 2026.

Responsibilities

• Aid in implementation of Manufacturing Execution Software (MES).
• Create, edit, and release work instructions with build technicians and manufacturing engineers.
• Capture redlines and conduct recurring meetings to determine additions to work instructions.
• Aid manufacturing engineers in tooling design and fabrication.
• Data collection, consolidation, and analysis to show trends with recommended actions.
