Job summary

Pacific Fusion is seeking a Supply Chain Intern to help track materials, parts, and assemblies on the production floor. You will assist with inventory control, MES data, and order execution to support manufacturing and engineering teams.

Gain hands-on exposure to MES, inventory records, and standard work while working onsite for a 12-week assignment beginning mid May through mid June 2027. Eligible interns receive mentorship and exposure to the full product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Interest in manufacturing, inventory control, and operational processes.
• Strong attention to detail and a desire to work with systems and data.

Responsibilities

• Support inventory management activities including receiving, stocking, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering to ensure materials are available and correctly issued to jobs.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within the MES.
• Assist with transaction execution in the MES (receipts, issues, transfers, work order consumption).
• Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies between physical stock and system data.
• Document inventory processes and standard work.
