Job summary

Pacific Fusion Corporation is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Build Technician to support their engineering and delivery teams in setting up automated manufacturing lines and in assembling, testing, and validating electrical and mechanical components for fusion energy systems.

The role emphasizes hands-on fabrication, equipment setup, and SOP/documentation creation, with a focus on safety, 5S practices, and cross-functional collaboration across electrical, mechanical, software, and manufacturing

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on technician experience.
• Familiarity with CAD and reading schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and protocols.
• Experience with forklifts and hand power tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead assembly, installation, and maintenance of fusion systems.
• Receive deliveries and manage equipment and supplies inventory.
• Prototype rapidly for fusion tech applications.
• Support design, development, and testing phases.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize equipment to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure systems integration.
