You will work on improving operator productivity, performing root cause analysis, and designing tooling while supporting Lean/Six Sigma initiatives and layout optimization. The internship runs June through mid‑December, Monday–Friday.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering during the co‑op.
• Must have earned at least 30 credit hours by start of co‑op.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
• Experience with CAD software including SolidWorks and AutoCAD preferred.

Aufgaben

• Immerse yourself in a full‑time, Monday–Friday co‑op session from June through mid‑December.
• Improve operator productivity by refining manufacturing processes.
• Perform root cause analysis and develop countermeasures for equipment and products.
• Design tooling to aid in manufacturing processes.
• Support Lean/Six Sigma initiatives including 5S, waste reduction, and flow improvements.
• Analyze manufacturing processes for cost reduction opportunities.
• Plan and design layouts for manufacturing processes and equipment.
