Daimler Truck North America is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to support the Manufacturing Development Center. The role involves implementing new engineering designs in DTNA facilities, hosting POD reviews, and assisting with prototype vehicle assembly.

You will collaborate with manufacturing and design engineers, assembly technicians, and fabrication staff. Interns gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing development environment, with potential for a full-time transition based on

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program or higher and pursuing a related technical field.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Interest in manufacturing, lean principles, and data-driven improvement.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for improvement in manufacturing activities.
• Propose and implement ergonomic/process improvements.
• Collect and analyze data to drive decisions.
• Collaborate with departments on corrective actions and track progress.
