Owens Corning is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Co-op for Fall 2027. You will be placed at an Owens Corning manufacturing plant for approximately 16 weeks, mentored by seasoned technical specialists, and engaged in value-added projects related to safety leadership, process/product improvement, and productivity gains.
You will build leadership capabilities, troubleshoot designs and processes, and learn to leverage data-driven decisions while collaborating with teams.

During the Fall term, you will be placed as a Manufacturing Engineering FallCo-op at an Owens Corning manufacturing plant for approximately16 weeks. You will be mentored by seasoned technical specialists and provided value added projects throughout this period. Projects will give you hands-on experience with the technical issues thatyou'llface in the production environment, and they will cover the following topics:
Safety leadership
Process and product improvement
Productivity increases
Total Productive Maintenance
In addition, you will develop the following skills necessary to be an effective manufacturing leader:
Troubleshoot and problem solve designs, materials, or processes
Leverage analytics & data-based decision making
Enhance leadership capabilities and lead teams
Effectively communicate and elevate performance of self and others
Strengthen technicalexpertise
Understand customer-driven focus
At the conclusion of the internship, participants may be offered anadditionalinternship or full-time employment in one of Owens Corning's Operations Leadership Development Programs, following graduation.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or relevant major and/or field
Previousrelevant internships/co-ops in a manufacturing setting
Demonstrated leadership in professional, service, or social organizations
Willingness and flexibility to relocate
Participants are based at various manufacturing sites in the US.
