Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician for an on-site role in Minnesota. The position supports manufacturing processes, performs preventive maintenance, and collaborates with engineering and operations to drive improvements.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with preferred technical associates. Expect flexibility for shifts, overtime, and a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; an associates degree in a technical field preferred.
• Experience with electronic circuit board troubleshooting is preferred.
• Must read and understand engineering drawings, specifications and process documentation.
• Must be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work all hours including weekends and off shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary support to manufacturing for process and product issues including quality, material and machine repair.
• Ensure operation of machinery by performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Support production line in repairing process equipment.
• Lead scrap reduction and FPY improvement efforts with QA and Eng teams.
• Identify and implement process improvement ideas and participate in equipment installations.
• Work with Operations Team to drive improvements in TRIR, LTIR, Delivery, and Labor Hours per Unit.
