L3Harris in Huntsville, AL is seeking a proactive Specialist, Manufacturing Engineer to join our Critical Process Task Force. You will identify, analyze, and overcome manufacturing challenges to boost efficiency and product quality while collaborating with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Design Engineering.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead corrective actions and process improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of Manufacturing/Engineering experience orGraduate Degree with 2+ years experience or 8+ years in lieu of a degree.
Experience in aerospace/defense or other regulated manufacturing environments is preferred.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, RCCA or similar problem-solving methods.

Responsibilities

Lead resolution of complex manufacturing issues to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and production efficiency.
Develop and implement corrective actions and process improvements addressing production challenges and waste.
Lead cross-functional efforts with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Design Engineering and other stakeholders to remove barriers.
Refine and uphold manufacturing standards, processes and execution discipline while maintaining hands-on problem-solving presence.
Conduct root cause investigations and apply Lean/Six Sigma and other structured problem-solving methods to drive continuous improvement.
Interpret technical, process and production data and translate findings into clear recommendations and action plans.
Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance.
Travel: 15%.
