Job summary

Teledyne ETM in Newark, CA, designs and manufactures high-power microwave and high-energy X-ray systems for demanding applications. This hands-on Manufacturing Engineer role sits at the engineering–manufacturing interface, diagnosing complex issues, improving processes, and driving new product introductions from prototype through ramp.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in manufacturing/test engineering or production support for high-power electronics/RF systems.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and experience with RF/electronic test equipment.
• Ability to interpret schematics, drawings, and documentation.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Own production support across RF, high-voltage, and power electronics on all levels.
• Lead root cause investigations and CAPA.
• Lead NPI execution from prototype to production ramp.
• Develop assembly flows, test strategies, and process docs.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to drive maturity and yield.
• Drive automation and robust testing on the production floor.
