Tempur Sealy in Richmond, VA is seeking a Quality Assurance/Manufacturing Engineer to implement safe, efficient manufacturing processes and drive quality improvements across the plant.
You will analyze data, lead audits, support product launches, and collaborate with Safety and Quality teams. Requires a bachelor's in manufacturing engineering, 3+ years in manufacturing, knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean, and Excel/Minitab proficiency. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Implement standard manufacturing processes that are safe, efficient, and produce high-quality products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to safety regulations and protocols.
Perform risk assessments and implement corrective actions to prevent accidents and injuries.
Support investigations into safety incidents andidentifyroot causes to prevent recurrence.
Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet customer requirements and industry standards.
Conduct regular audits toidentifyareas for improvement and develop action plans to address deficiencies.
Use data analysis tools tomonitorkey performance indicators (KPIs) andidentifyareas for improvement.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
Stayup-to-datewith best practices andnew technologiestoidentifyopportunities for process improvements.
Collaborate closely with corporate Safety and Quality Teams to ensure focus on organization priorities.
Assistwith product launches, product spec meetings, and best practice sharing across the network.
Manage all quality related internal and external plant audits.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineeringor a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and protocols.
Auditor certification experience is a plus.
Experience with quality control and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills as well asstrong communicationand interpersonal skills.
Occasional travel (up to 25%) will berequired.
