Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, electrical, or related engineering required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects autonomously with accountability.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and PM skills.
• Willingness to work in plant with occasional off-shift or travel.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement solutions for repairing mechanical equipment, minimizing downtime and maximizing output.
• Provide technical support and expertise for setup, operation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Analyze and implement product or machinery designs for best manufacturing methods.
• Analyze blueprints and machine schematics to troubleshoot production issues.
• Propose and evaluate processes for equipment in assigned area.
• Develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and documentation to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Direct the design, development, and/or improvement of manufacturing processes for assigned area.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products and components.
• Provide direction to engineering support groups and vendors.
• Evaluate or monitor expenditures on processes and/or equipment.
