Job summary

You will recommend improvements, coordinate new process launches, and support production to ensure on-time delivery and profitability.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in mechanical or manufacturing engineering and experience in high-precision, high-volume machining, plus familiarity with TS quality systems, PPAP and APQP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in high-precision, high-volume machining environments is preferred.
• Experience with TS quality system, PPAP and APQP is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements cost-effective manufacturing processes per specifications and quality standards.
• Plans, schedules and coordinates projects of moderate scope.
• Represents manufacturing engineering on cross-functional teams and supports on-going production.
• Applies statistical methods, analyzes processes for cost reduction and quality improvement.
• Drives process launches, training and evaluation of results.
