Avon Technologies seeks a Manufacturing Engineer in Cleveland, OH to lead new and improved production processes, develop routings and tooling, and collaborate across teams to optimize quality, cost, and throughput. The role requires CAD proficiency (Creo/Pro-E), hands-on problem solving, and strong communication.

You will support tooling development, process documentation, and training, ensuring efficient, low-defect production methods aligned with safety and quality standards.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering.
• Experience with tooling, machining, and fabricating processes.
• Experience using CAD tools (e.g., Creo/Pro-E) and reading drawings/blueprints.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven problem-solving abilities.

Mansioni

• Lead the implementation into manufacturing of new, changed, or improved products (via Process Sign-Off) with documentation and final reports.
• Develop and document process routings and labor standards.
• Develop, evaluate, improve, and document manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with quality and manufacturing to apply measurement and process control techniques to determine capability and throughput.
• Analyze manufacturing process flows for quality, cost reduction, and throughput improvements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional product/process planning teams.
• Design and develop tooling and processes for efficient production methods.
• Source vendors and develop tooling specifications, evaluating products to standards.
• Assist operations in estimating staffing, production times, and relative costs for decisions.
• Coordinate training to implement technical/process updates (ECR/PCR).
• Create fixtures and tooling with low defect rates and cost.
• Maintain accurate tool drawings/equipment concepts in line with R&D/QA.
• Provide engineering support to production to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
