Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to work across departments to ensure new programs are completed on time while continuously improving existing processes.

You will collaborate with Design Engineering and Production to develop work instructions, manufacturing orders, and training, ensuring manufacturability and efficiency. You will interpret customer specifications, coordinate engineering changes, and support planning, production, and quality teams in translating

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering.
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficiency with CAD tools like SolidWorks or Catia.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes and layouts from customer requirements.
• Collaborate with production and facilities to optimize equipment and workflows.
• Interpret customer drawings, specifications, and processes.
• Coordinate engineering changes into ERP/MRP databases (Syteline).
• Support planning, production, and quality in translating engineering to work orders.
• Identify automation opportunities and implement process improvements.
• Lead special projects as assigned.
