Job summary

Vayan Group is seeking a contract Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing operations, process development, tooling design, and continuous improvement initiatives in Atlanta, GA. The role focuses on developing and optimizing processes, supporting prototype and production builds, and ensuring efficient manufacturing with quality adherence.

The position collaborates with operations, quality, and engineering teams, and requires travel to supplier and customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing/process engineering or related.
• Experience with electromechanical products preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical docs.
• Willingness to travel to supplier/customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Own and support manufacturing processes for assigned products and projects.
• Develop tooling, fixtures, and assembly solutions to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions, process flows, inspection requirements, and quality plans.
• Develop manufacturing methods and assembly sequences for complex electromechanical products.
• Support prototype builds and production launches with technicians and engineering teams.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
• Travel to supplier and customer locations to support sourcing, process development, production launches, and quality initiatives.
