Job summary

Quick Hire Staffing is seeking a contract Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing operations, process development, tooling design, and continuous improvement initiatives in Atlanta, GA. You will develop and optimize processes, support prototype and production builds, and collaborate with suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure efficient, quality production.

Responsibilities include owning manufacturing processes, creating tooling, maintaining docs, and reducing waste.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum two years of manufacturing engineering, process engineering, product development, or related experience.
• Experience supporting electromechanical products and manufacturing processes preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own and support manufacturing processes for assigned products and projects
• Develop tooling, fixtures, and assembly solutions to improve safety, quality, and efficiency
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions, process flows, inspection requirements, and quality plans
• Develop manufacturing methods and assembly sequences for complex electromechanical products
• Support prototype builds and production launches through hands-on collaboration with technicians and engineering teams
• Work with contract manufacturers and suppliers to establish repeatable and scalable manufacturing processes
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste
• Troubleshoot manufacturing, assembly, and production issues and implement corrective actions
• Support supplier sourcing, qualification, and ongoing production activities
• Assist with quality planning activities and implementation of process controls
• Collect, analyze, and report manufacturing and operational performance data
• Travel to supplier and customer locations to support sourcing, process development, production launches, and quality initiatives
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, customer requirements, and safety procedures
