Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking multiple Manufacturing Engineers to support our Anderson, SC facility. This 2-month contract role focuses on manufacturing operations, process improvement, and industrial engineering methods.

Ideal for junior to mid-level engineers with experience in process standardization, logistics optimization, and continuous improvement. You will work with cross-functional teams to boost efficiency and document standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/ Manufacturing/ Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and with process improvement.
• Knowledge of process standardization and continuous improvement principles.
• Experience supporting assembly operations and understanding material flow.
• Familiarity with Lean, Process Mapping, Time Studies, and Root Cause Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Develop and implement process standardization initiatives across production operations.
• Analyze and optimize internal logistics and material flow within the facility.
• Collaborate with production teams to improve assembly processes and reduce bottlenecks.
• Conduct workflow analysis, time studies, and process improvement projects.
• Apply Industrial Engineering methodologies to identify and implement operational improvements.
• Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and manufacturing standards.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective action activities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Monitor production metrics and recommend process enhancements.
