Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, process optimization, and quality control.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and manufacturing simulation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Knowledge of automation and robotics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Continuously evaluate manufacturing processes to identify efficiency, cost, and quality improvements; implement changes.
• Develop and maintain production schedules; coordinate with departments to meet goals.
• Oversee maintenance, calibration, and optimization of manufacturing equipment.
• Establish and enforce quality control measures; conduct inspections and tests.
• Analyze costs and implement strategies to reduce expenses while maintaining quality.
• Collaborate with product design teams on manufacturability (DFM/DFA) input.
• Maintain accurate process documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide training to production personnel on new processes and equipment.
• Investigate and resolve production issues; implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with EHS regulations and maintain a safe workplace.
• _work cross-functionally with design, supply chain, and QA to align processes with business goals.
• Lead or participate in manufacturing projects; manage timelines and budgets.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement using lean/Six Sigma.
