Responsibilities
- Apply Lean principles to improve manufacturing efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
- Design layouts for equipment and workspace to optimize flow and space utilization.
- Estimate production times, staffing needs, and costs for management planning.
- Communicate production schedules and capabilities to support operations.
- Collaborate with vendors on product specifications, equipment, and material purchases.
- Lead technical upgrades, equipment installations, and tooling implementation.
- Participate in contract reviews for major projects.
- Evaluate products against specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct health and safety reviews for new or modified equipment.
- Travel as needed for business purposes.
