Job summary

EmployBridge is partnering with a global manufacturer in the Mocksville, NC area to hire a Manufacturing Engineer. The role focuses on supporting advanced machining operations, process improvement, and capital equipment implementation within a large-scale facility.

You will collaborate with production, engineering, and operations teams to drive continuous improvement, develop tooling and workflows, and ensure safe, efficient manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Engineering discipline.
• Manufacturing engineering experience in a machining environment and/or supporting machining operations preferred.
• Recent graduates with strong machining, manufacturing, design, capstone, robotics, or CNC experience are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of CNC-based manufacturing processes.
• Experience with tooling, fixtures, process development, or manufacturing projects; ability to troubleshoot manufacturing and production issues.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Experience with CAD software and manufacturing technologies.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing projects from concept through implementation.
• Develop and improve machining and manufacturing processes.
• Support capital equipment selection, installation, and commissioning.
• Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing aids.
• Analyze and resolve manufacturing issues using structured problem-solving techniques.
• Support continuous improvement and productivity initiatives.
• Develop manufacturing documentation, workflows, and process standards.
• Partner with engineering, operations, suppliers, and quality teams to improve performance.
• Support new product introduction and process development activities.
• Promote safe manufacturing practices and operational excellence.
