Job summary

Employbridge is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join a global manufacturer in the Mocksville, NC area, supporting advanced machining operations in a large-scale facility.

The role emphasizes process improvement, capital equipment implementation, tooling development, and continuous improvement, collaborating with production, engineering, operations, suppliers, and quality teams to drive performance and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Engineering discipline.
• Experience with machining environments or machining operations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CNC-based manufacturing processes and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing projects from concept through implementation.
• Develop and improve machining and manufacturing processes.
• Support capital equipment selection, installation, and commissioning.
• Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing aids.
• Analyze and resolve manufacturing issues using structured problem-solving techniques.
• Support continuous improvement and productivity initiatives.
• Develop manufacturing documentation, workflows, and process standards.

Mocksville, NC Area (open to relocation)

Salary: $85,000-$110,000+ (flexibility for exceptional candidates)

Our client is a global manufacturer seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support advanced machining operations within a large-scale manufacturing facility.

This position will play a key role in process improvement, capital equipment implementation, tooling development, manufacturing projects, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting machining environments and working closely with production, engineering, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing projects from concept through implementation
• Develop and improve machining and manufacturing processes
• Support capital equipment selection, installation, and commissioning
• Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing aids
• Analyze and resolve manufacturing issues using structured problem-solving techniques
• Support continuous improvement and productivity initiatives
• Develop manufacturing documentation, workflows, and process standards
• Partner with engineering, operations, suppliers, and quality teams to improve performance
• Support new product introduction and process development activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Engineering discipline
• Manufacturing engineering experience in a machining environment and/or supporting machining operations preferred
• Recent engineering graduates with strong machining, manufacturing, design, capstone, Formula SAE, Baja, robotics, machining lab, CNC, or senior project experience are also encouraged to apply
• Knowledge of CNC-based manufacturing processes
• Experience with tooling, fixtures, process development, or manufacturing projectsAbility to troubleshoot manufacturing and production issues
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
• Experience with CAD software and manufacturing technologies
• Excellent communication and project management skills
