Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years manufacturing engineering experience in a production assembly/testing environment.
• Proficiency with Excel.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration across multiple functions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and improve production tooling and product testing equipment.
• Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes using Lean principles and CI methodologies.
• Create and maintain manufacturing routings, VIS, and related process documentation.
• Support the disposition of nonconforming materials and participate in root cause investigations.
• Collaborate with R&D Engineering and Quality Engineering to develop, validate, and document new processes.
• Train production operators and supervisors on new products, process improvements, and changes.
• Analyze manufacturing performance and identify opportunities to improve quality, productivity, throughput, cost, and delivery.
• Develop PFMEAs and implement risk-reduction actions based on severity, occurrence, and detection criteria.
• Evaluate current and prospective suppliers' capabilities to meet quality and performance requirements.
• Support CI initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and manufacturing effectiveness.
