Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. in Duluth, GA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for LV electrical panels to support manufacturing teams, improve processes, and ensure quality and cost efficiency. You will collaborate with design, quality, and production to troubleshoot and optimize production lines.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 3–5 years in manufacturing, with CAD, SAP, and Lean manufacturing knowledge; strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical panel design, assembly and testing.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with Engineering teams to provide feedback on product design for manufacturing.
• Creates and maintains technical detailed documentation such as drawings and BOMs.
• Analyzes and improves panel design to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Develops templates/poka-yokes to increase productivity and ensure quality.
• Provides technical assistance for assembly, testing and packing of LV panels, including prototypes.
• Develops and updates SOPs for production processes.
