WEG Electric Corp. is seeking an Applications Engineer Motors in the Duluth, GA area to support customers and develop engineered LV and MV motors. You will handle technical and commercial solutions from RFQ inception to close, coordinating with sales, engineering and factories.

You will create proposals, perform calculations, and develop technical documentation while mentoring inside and field sales. A background in LV/MV motors and SAP is preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering preferred.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to read technical docs.

Responsabilidades

• Communicates with field sales, customers, engineering group and factories effectively.
• Prepares accurate proposals based on specifications and communications.
• Provides technical and commercial training to inside sales, field sales and customers as needed.
• Leads quotation opportunities and secures feedback from Sales or customers.
• Identifies project details for quotation strategy and competitive strengths/ weaknesses.
• Supports LV Motors team technically and commercially.
• Creates working instructions, SOPs and customer guidelines.
• Participates in conference calls and customer visits with limited outside sales support.
• Guides Order Entry to ensure correct configuration.
• Organizes quotation/order documentation and feedback loops.
• Performs electrical and mechanical calculations with engineering software.
• Creates technical datasheets and drawings with engineering software.
